My name is Tom Montefinise.
This is my home. This is where my family and friends are and the nonsensical policies enacted by the Democrats in Albany are squeezing out the middle class. New York is becoming less and less affordable and I don’t want to just stand by and take it anymore.
That’s why I’m running for State Senator in the 6th District of New York State.
Don’t worry about spelling my last name. I’m the only Tom running for a seat in the 6th Senatorial District. 😊
Career
Presently, Tom works for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office’s Municipal Transaction’s Bureau handling Municipal Contracts and Real Estate Matters. Tom started his legal career at the Law Office of Michael J. Alber, P.C. where he practiced Criminal Defense, Matrimonial Law, and Family Law.
He also worked for the Law Office of Marc Scolnick, P.C. where he handled complex real estate litigation and Landlord Tenant matters.
Education
Tom attended Oceanside High School where his father taught for over forty years. Tom obtained an A.A. from Nassau Community College, a B.A. from Hofstra University with a Major in History, and his J.D. from CUNY School of Law.
During his education he interned for the Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs, was a T.A. for Latin American Caribbean Studies, and interned for the Honorable Vito DeStefano.
